NBA 2K21 Cover Art for Next-Gen Platforms to Feature Zion Williamson

As expected, Zion Williamson will be donning the cover of NBA 2K21 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X iterations of the basketball sim.

 

After revealing that Damian Lillard would be appearing on the current generation version of NBA 2K21 yesterday, 2K Games unveiled the cover athlete for next-gen iterations of the game and the result isn’t much of a surprise.

Much as myself and many others expected, New Orleans Pelicans phenom Zion Williamson will be the superstar appearing on NBA 2K21 for the forthcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game. Williamson, who is a rookie in the NBA this season, was drafted by the Pelicans out of Duke in 2019 and was last year’s National College Player of the Year. Essentially, Williamson is considered the “next big thing” in the realm of basketball and might very well be the most hyped-up player since LeBron James was drafted out of high school almost twenty years ago.
